Minus the Negativity


Hey, I hope everyone had an amazing week and the weekend has finally arrived. Negativity can be seen as a cruel thing and it isn’t healthy for anyone either. I love being happy and I will sacrifice any type of negativity to get myself to be happy again. The more negativity in your life, the further you are from happiness but here’s some tips from me to you to avoid the negativity and just be happy.

 TIP #1: Don’t take other people’s negativity to heart

People that act negatively towards you is also acting negative towards everyone else as well. Even if the person may seem like they are insulting you directly, it usually has nothing to do with you. These are the type of people that may be having not the best time of their lives and they just try to make themselves feel better by putting other people down. So honestly, don’t even bother taking other people’s negativity.

TIP #2: Surround yourself with positive people

The people that you are around are the ones that will impact you as a person too. Surround yourself with people that are positive. Create relationships where it will help you and not hurt you. Become friends with people who will bring the best out of you. In simple words, be around people that will make your day a little brighter simply by just being there in your life.

TIP #3: Remember that life is a series of ups and down

When something negative occurs, accept it and let it go. Let that negative moment teach you a lesson but don’t let it ruin your day. Life is literally filled with ups and downs and holding down to the negativity is not going to bring you anywhere either. Breathe, let go and enjoy the roller-coaster called life.

TIP #4: Change the way you think

The way you think is something you have full control over so always let your mind be positive. Quit the complaining and judging because that won’t make any situation better. To be crystal clear, you can’t have a positive life with a negative attitude.

It isn’t easy to be positive when negativity is around you but something I want to remind is that you have full control of your attitude so if you want a positive life, go ahead and aim for it because you have that control.
